Weddings

The Melbourne Wedding took place October 2013 at the Sandtown Church, followed by pictures on the beautiful grounds of the museum. Thank you to Ashley and Bill Jr. Melbourne for sharing these pictures.

Located in Ault Park at the Lost Villages Museum site, this quaint, rustic building is available for rental. The historic Sandtown Church will provide a one-of-a-kind wedding memory.

Available for weddings mid-May to mid-October.

Our church seats approximately 60 guests and is sure to provide a one-of-a-kind wedding memory.

RENTAL FEES

  • The Rental Rate for the Church is $200 plus a $100 security deposit. This rate is based on the event being complete, and the Church vacated by 5 pm (museum closing time).
  • For bookings at 5 pm or later, there is a Rental Surcharge of $100.
  • Full Payment is due at the time of booking. An e-mail will confirm the booking.

“Step-On” Tours Through “The Lands of the Lost Villages” – Next tour TBA

Ideal Spring, Summer or Autumn activity for tour operators or organizations. Jim Brownell, President of the Lost Villages Historical Society will step-on your bus or coach, in Cornwall and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry, and narrate a 3-4 hour tour through “The Lands of the Lost Villages.”

Fee is negotiable according to size of bus group. Please contact us for additional details or bookings.
